Ticks
I keep checking for ticks
Running my hands through my hair
I know they are there
Itching, scratching, crawling
I can feel them floating up there
Pincers flailing, almost helpless
I stomp with my footI keep checking for ticks
Pulling up my pant legs
Watching for woods and tall grass
Slight pains in my leg where one has
Supplanted
I slap my leg and look around
Pulling up my pant legs
I flick them with my index fingerThe winter didn't kill them, no
Release the turkeys
Review the procedure to remove them
See pictures of Lyme disease
Watching for woods and tall grass
No, we don't have to walk out there
Just go ahead
I don't care
Nope
You can always check for them later

When I was young I used to live in a house in the middle of the woods. Sure, it was beautiful out there, but you couldn't walk more than ten feet from the house without a tick falling on your head or crawling up your leg.
oh yes. tis that time again.
Cringing... :-S
Creepy.
Ticks aren't as bad as chigoes.
Ticks completely freak me out. I'd rather meet a snake in the woods than find a tick on me.
I'm scratching just reading this! And of course you HAVE to check later!
@Roadkill_Spatula - You had to make me google that...
@the_rocking_of_socks - Just need some napalm...
@anvilsandedelweiss - It tis...the winter was mild so they are out in droves...
@angi1972 - don't cringe too much...
@Finity - Freaky.
@saintvi - I remember your recent blog on how you screamed when you found a tick...I did something completely similar when I found one on my head, minus the scream, I threw it in the truck and then I was like...oh I shouldn't have done that...
@murisopsis - Oh you do? Ha.
I pulled a couple the size of grapes off of a dog once. I don't think I squished them on the floor, but it was tempting.
